Micalo was designed to have a seamless integration with the natural surrounds. Shared spaces and the private bedroom suites open directly to covered verandas with views to the natural landscape beyond. The sounds of the estuary, a cry of seabirds and the rustle of a light breeze in the trees evokes a sense of connection with nature and sets the scene for complete relaxation and rejuvenation of mind, body and spirit.

Relax in Micalo’s chemical-free pool, filled with natural mineral salt water for a gentle swim or soak in the magnesium-rich spa to soothe tired muscles. Lounge poolside on queen-sized custom-built sunbeds with a book and beverage. Calm your mind with some tunes played over the built-in sound system.

Micalo has a ten-person traditional hot rock sauna located just by the large private deck at the rear of The Studio. A galvanized tub for outdoor soaking is also found here. For guests who like to take ice baths as part of their wellness ritual, there is a chest freezer in the carport to store your ice. The opulent master ensuite features a natural stone tub and a large circular skylight for star gazing while soaking.

Take a trip down to the river to find a gathering place for nature lovers, featuring tree stumps arranged around a campfire under shady trees. Immerse yourself in the sounds of nature and marvel at the raw beauty of the unspoiled ecology of Micalo.

Our media room is designed for ultimate comfort with soft lighting, climate control, and built-in curved sofas, creating a cosy space to escape and share your favourite movies and series with family and friends.
