MICALO FOR COUPLES

At Micalo, the master suite offers a blend of style and comfort. The custom velvet king bed, complete with a TV lift footboard, is positioned in the centre of the room.

Floor to ceiling drapes soften the space and quality linens gently embrace slumbering guests. Romance and connection are welcomed in equal measures as you step into the ensuite and open the faucets to fill the large free standing tub where you can soak under the stars and night sky, framed by the large round custom skylight overhead. Pamper yourself with luxury skin and haircare products by Le Labo and Kevin Murphy.

A stylish walk-in robe will keep your belongings tucked away behind a partition wall.

Direct access to the gardens via a private deck opening to views across the acreage. Our Yamba accommodation has views of plains dotted with coastal heaths and small stands of trees provide ample opportunities to enjoy local fauna including the resident mob of kangaroos and native birds including Sea Eagles, Osprey and Kites.

MICALO FOR FRIENDS AND FAMILY

In addition to the master suite, the four King rooms located in the bedroom wing are accessible from a central hallway. Each room is designed with both style and uniqueness in mind, and boasts a private bathroom, giving all guests the feeling of having their own personal master ensuite.

The inclusion of vintage pieces, gilded mirrors and eclectic artworks elevate and personalise each of the spaces, a mix of old and new in perfect harmony. Cleverly saving the property from the austerity of modern builds, the styling adding a softness to ensure guests feel truly at home, in our home.

Each space feels unique, but still connected to the whole. French accents, elegant deep green hues and timber moulding with sheer, creamy drapes and soft timber floorboards can be found in one suite. A vintage portrait of a bay horse graces the wall of another, a touch of leather and selection of books giving a small nod to a subtle equine theme.

A considered selection of textiles, cushions and bedding and creates a nest of comfort and layered drapery lends itself to a deep sense of privacy for each guest. The bathrooms are, once again, a celebration of style and natural materials with the choice of stone, cabinetry, and tapware.

All bedrooms feature TVs, ducted aircon, overhead fans and private, covered decks leading directly to the gardens, continuing the theme of bringing the landscape in.

THE STUDIO

Micalo’s studio is the perfect accommodation solution for extended families with older children, groups of friends and event guests. Open-plan living for groups with six custom bunk beds, two singles and an elevated, curtained, generously proportioned alcove with super king bed.

Custom built-in blackened timber bunk beds ensure a solid sleeping base, each generously proportioned and featuring an innovative porthole window positioned so that each guest has a view to the garden. Here you will find an oversized, luxurious and comfortable sofa, large flatscreen television, soundbar and Sonos system. A small kitchen is positioned off the main living area comprising of a gas cooktop, fridge, oven and tiled benchtop ensuring convenience for guests staying in The Studio and privacy for guests in the main house.

The Studio has its own bathroom and leads through to a rear covered deck where you will find Micalo’s traditional sauna and outdoor tub. Design wise, this space mirrors the rich and eclectic style found throughout the property, a perfect complement to the main house and some of the best Yamba accommodation to be found.
