“I recently had the pleasure of hosting an event at Micalo, owned and designed by the very kind & talented Taliah, and I must say it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we stepped onto the property, we were captivated by each detail and the overall elegance that makes Micalo so special.

The venue itself is nestled on a serene and picturesque property close to Yamba. The well-maintained gardens, tasteful landscaping and cutest wallabies provided a stunning backdrop for our event. “Where do I even begin. I rarely get the chance to switch off from the daily grind with my two busy boys and work but Micalo was the perfect getaway escape. The home is beautifully curated with every detail of the property and surrounds designed and perfectly thought out. “This is one of the most gorgeous houses I’ve ever seen! I stayed with extended family for a weekend and none of us wanted to leave. The photos don’t do the space justice with the gorgeous creek, basketball court, sauna, pool, golf, many fire pits – just to name a few of our favourite spots. Really comfortable bedrooms to fit lots of people, lots of separate spaces to relax and hang out separately and together. We had the best time and couldn’t even fit in all of the activities! Byron Beach Abodes were wonderful hosts with exceptional communication and some fantastic recommendations too. Couldn’t recommend more highly – we truly didn’t want to leave!”

“I don’t think I have words to do our stay justice. It was out of this world perfection!

From the beautiful little touches with some goodies left in the fridge for us to the fresh plants, there was truly nothing not considered for our stay. The property is superb, the house is so well thought out and designed, and the finishes of EVERYTHING are all such good quality and high end, the house is obviously visual luxury but it just feels so much more.

The kids loved having their own house to sleep in, though there was so much to do to keep them busy they didn’t spend a whole lot of time inside. You are drawn outdoors because of how beautiful the landscape is and the men and kids spent a good amount of time playing basketball, golf and canoeing around.

I wish we could have stayed for longer; it has been said it was the best family holiday we have ever had and we truly all enjoyed the time so very much. Thank you for making such a dream destination and if the owners ever plan to sell, I would love to be approached to make an offer. “
